The following films are, in my opinion, some of the best to come out of this new wave. Originating from that which is deemed “transgressive” or offensive, this new wave of extreme films does so under the origins of French film makers. Arriving from that, these films have fallen under the modern categorization of what some call “French Extreme” or “ New French Extremity “.
